Thigh lift


Excessive fat accumulation in the thigh is undesirable for many people. Most fat accumulation is outside and inside of the thighs and around the knees. Liposuction can remove this fat accumulation in young people with highly supple skin.

After 40, the skin elasticity decreases. Diet, running, and cycling can reduce the circumference of the thigh, but can not find a solution for excess and loose skin. As mentioned, one of the most troublesome areas of

The suture line is inside the thigh and below the panties line.

Possible risks of thigh lift surgery:

The thigh lifting risks are low, provided that the surgery is performed by a plastic surgeon who has sufficient experience.

The following are some of the thigh lifting risks

Bleeding, infection, local anesthesia, impaired wound healing, widening or ugliness of the suture line, accumulation of serum under the wound.

Preoperative recommendations:

The use of drugs that have anticoagulant properties should be discontinued by consulting the physician at least 14 days before the surgery date.

Minimize nicotine and alcohol consumption 4 weeks before the surgery date

Be sure to tell your surgeon if you have any allergies or illnesses.

Be sure to tell your surgeon if you get bruises quickly after a small blow.

If you are employed, take at least 2-3 weeks off.

Postoperative recommendations:

The thigh will be swollen and bruised immediately after the surgery.

You should wear girdle pants 3-6 weeks after surgery.

Avoid wetting the sutures before pulling them off.

The suture is pulled after 1-3 weeks.

After 2 days, you can take a shower, but avoid swimming for up to 3 months.

Rest at home for at least 2 weeks after surgery.

The suture line will be stiff and red for up to three months after the surgery.
