Bruising, dimples, or under eyes puffiness

Bruising and dimples under the eyes are one of the most common and annoying problems among people.
For this reason, plastic and cosmetic surgeons, dermatologists, and ophthalmologists have many clients.
The ways of treating this problem are very diverse.
It can be under the eyes bruising alone or with dimples.
Forms of the eye bruising can be classified as follows: Bruising
due to aging skin and drooping eyelids
Due to the reduction of adipose tissue under the eyelids and face and the identification of facial ossification
Due to hereditary or ethnic reasons, bruising is more common under the eyes in some nations.

Due to lack of sleep, excessive alcohol consumption, excessive grief, and poor nutrition Often,
several causes occur at the same time

Under-eye Puffiness

The under-eye puffiness refers to the swelling and protrusion of the lower eyelid. Often, the puffiness is due to changes in adipose tissue,  but other causes such as accumulation of lymph fluid, enlargement of the annular muscle around the eyes, sagging skin, or skin growth in this area and also sometimes due to skin diseases.
Swelling with under the eyes puffiness is divided into two categories:
The first category is acute swelling which can have reasons such as infection, allergies, or the presence of a foreign object and can be treated quickly by a specialist
The second category is chronic puffiness or swelling, which can have reasons such as excessive accumulation of fat around the eyes and sagging connective tissue or enlargement of the annular muscle around the eye. Their treatment is longer and more difficult than their acute counterpart.

Treatment to eliminate bruising, dimples, and under eyes puffiness

First of all, the causes of the disease should be identified and eliminated after a thorough examination. For example,  if the under eyes puffiness is due to an allergy, it is necessary to determine the reason, such as the lens fluid or the lens itself, cosmetics,  dust in the air, and so on.Then to avoid using or contacting them.
As mentioned, massage of this area towards the related lymph nodes can be effective in reducing puffiness (parotid gland and submandibular lymph nodes).
One of the common ways in Western countries is to use hemorrhoid ointment, and we have no experience in this field. Cortisone-containing ointments should not be used due to skin thinning and bruising worsening over time.  Another effective way is laser treatment, specifically for the lower eyelid, and thus reduces the accumulation of pigments in the eyelid area.
Another method to reduce the darkness under the eyes is chemical peeling. A new and effective treatment in this field is the injection of hyaluronic acid  and fat in the eyelid area and under the annular muscle of the eye.  For the fat to remain stable, it is sometimes necessary to inject 2 to 3 times, approximately 2 months apart.
The final treatment of eyelid surgery is blepharoplasty performed by an experienced and specialized surgeon. It is not very dangerous but it can also have good results.
